But that would hold true no matter where a large group of people is gathered.

For my part, that bridge was a part of my daily life for 15 years. My neighborhood's traffic flow is fucked because it is gone. I went to have a look at it, to mourn those who died, and to see what society's neglect hath wrought. My guess is I was hardly alone in this regard.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I'll be checking back on you... cheers!Knight of Nothinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00258071389769083850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-647931593253072359.post-20467041982187842772007-09-06T11:04:00.000-05:002007-09-06T11:04:00.000-05:00Heya - thanks for the comment on my blog - I agree...Heya - thanks for the comment on my blog -
I agree with your sentiments on morbid tourism. I live in South Wales where one of the most popular 'attractions' seems to be the gravestones of the children who died in the Aberfan Disaster where a school was wiped out by a landslide in 1966.Mangawitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993146152603137190noreply@blogger.com
